But we can always distract our mind by focusing on other things. Everyday activities, like household chores, may also keep some anxiety at bay.

Talk to a friend about what you're feeling.  Or it may be with a friend, family member or psychologist. Just bottling your feelings up inside will worsen your anxiety. Voicing your feelings can help you feel better and decrease your anxiety. You may even work out a plan to make things better.

A big part of life is dealing with uncertainty. Constantly stressing yourself out about things you cannot control only creates more stress and aggravates anxiety. The bottom line is it just stops you from enjoying the great things that are currently taking place. Accepting that there is uncertainty and realizing that instant solutions are not always possible can better your life.

Don’t Forget Sleep Helps Reduce Anxiety

Make sure to get a full night's sleep to help fight anxiety. Not getting enough sleep leads to irritability, short-term memory problems and poof concentration and problem-solving ability.  This will increase your stress and anxiety level. Adults need 7 to 9 hours of sleep daily, depending on the individual. Getting less than 5 hours of sleep per night consistently cay lead to serious medical complications over time.

Make a space in your daily schedule to unwind doing something relaxing that you enjoy.  This could be reading, meditation, enjoying a favorite TV show or listening to some music. You may like taking a hot bath. Your anxiety will fade away over time when you institute a daily relaxation period.

Do You have a Daily Goal?

Give yourself a daily goal.  Focus on working hard enough to achieve it. This will help you focus all day, which keeps negative thoughts away and minimizes anxiety. Many people set goals for the next the evening before. You can prioritize them into different categories like urgent/important or not urgent important, etc.
